An unstoppable entrepreneur

June 4, 2023 Melanie Hawken

by Josefa Massinga

Dear Lionesses, today I challenge each of you to look for the inner lionesses that exist in you and drive you to be unstoppable. Let’s identify the lionesses within ourselves and advance as much as we can by being true to ourselves. Many people are good at what they do. Some are even elite. A few are completely unstoppable. I would like us to be in the group of those who are completely unstoppable in their own world, those who don't compete with anyone but themselves. Are you unstoppable? If not by the end of this blog you will be!

Don't overthink, it's time to act!

Do not overthink things. You already know what you have to do and you know how to do it. So what's stopping you? Instead of overanalyzing everything and overthinking, just act. Every right decision I've ever made has come from my gut. Every bad decision I've made has been a result of not listening to the bigger voice of myself. By the time you start thinking, you've already wasted a lot of time. Thinking quickly pulls you out of your comfort zone.

Always be prepared so that you have the freedom to act instinctively.

Become an expert in your business. While everyone else is relaxing, you are practicing and perfecting. You'll see things in many frames more than others. While they are trying to react to the situation, you will be able to manipulate and adjust the situation to your liking.

Don't be motivated by money or anything external.

Having good things is super nice. But for you, it was never about money, prestige or anything else outside of you. You're still going to be pushing your personal boundaries and giving it your all. Give these things to yourself and they won't destroy you like they do most people.

Never be satisfied.

The drive to close the gap between near-perfect and perfect is the difference between big and unstoppable. Even after reaching a goal, you are not satisfied. For you, it's not even about the goal. It's about the climb to see how far you can go. To quote Jim Rohn, “The way to get the most out of life is to end one goal and start right on the next one. Don't linger too long at the success table, the only way to enjoy another meal is to get hungry. “

Don't be afraid of the consequences of failure.

Most people stay close to the ground where it's safe. If they fall off, it won't hurt as much. But when you decide to fly high, the fall can kill you. And you're fine with that. For you there is no roof and there is no floor. It's all in your head. If something goes wrong – if you “fail” – you adjust and keep going.

Do not compete with others. Make them compete with you.

Most people are competing with other people. They continually check in on what others are doing in their spaces (their “competition”). As a result, they imitate and copy what is “working”. It takes you out of your authentic comfort zone. So you exclude all external noise and instead use your internal pressure to produce the goods.

Never stop learning.

Ordinary people are looking for entertainment. Extraordinary people seek education and learning. When you want to become the best at what you do, you never stop learning. You never stop improving and perfecting your skills and knowledge. The unparalleled preparation is what gives you your power. No one else is willing to pay the price you have paid.

Success is not enough – it only increases the pressure.

For most people, becoming “successful” is enough. However, when you are relentless, success only increases the pressure to do more. Immediately after accomplishing a goal, you're focused on your next challenge.

Assume completely when you screw up.

No fault. No deception or illusion. Just the hard, cold truth. When you make a mess, you own it. And as the leader, you take over when your team fails.

“. Admitting mistakes, owning up and developing a plan to overcome challenges is an integral part of any successful team. “– Jocko Willink

Let your work speak for itself.

“Well done, it is well said.” – Anthony Liccione

Conclusion

“From this point on, your strategy is to get everyone else on your level, you're not going to theirs. You are not competing with anybody ever again. They will have to compete with you. From now on, the end result is all that matters. “– Tim Grover

When you're unstoppable, you'll be sure to get what you want. Everything you need to know is already inside you. All you have to do is trust yourself and take action. Will you be unstoppable in 2023?

Josefa Amélia Massinga is the founder of Florista Flor Khyathu in Maputo, Mozambique. Her business, which opened in 2015, was inspired by the memory of her young niece Khyathu Massinga, who lost her life two years earlier. This store was Josefa Massinga's first enterprise, bringing her passion for flowers to a suburban area. As the only flower shop in this area at the time, she has since built up a loyal following of customers and brand recognition. She has since opened another branch called Khyathu Assessoria where in addition to flowers, customers can also access a range of other services such as floral decorations for vehicles, churches and events for special celebrations.
