A Christmas Fantasy: Wishes Beyond Material Possessions

December 29, 2024 Melanie Hawken

by Thembe Khumalo

For dreamers like me, the holiday season is the perfect time to indulge in the wonder and magic of fantasy. I can let my imagination run wild and dream of the extraordinary. If I were to make an unconventional Christmas wish list, one that contains no material possessions (because if I told you the material things I wish for, you might faint!) here’s what would be on it:

All The People I Love Together at Once

Imagine a Christmas where all the people I hold dear could come together in one place, their differences put aside in the name of love and unity. Of course, in reality, they might beat each other up, but in this fantasy, it would be a harmonious gathering that warms the soul. The laughter, the stories, and the genuine connections would be nothing short of amazing.

Effortless Health Goals

What if we could magically achieve our health goals? Picture being at your ideal size, weight, and even height without ever having to deny yourself another serving of Christmas trifle. Yes, we understand the value of the journey, but once in a while, it's delightful to dream of effortless transformations.

A Year of Ease

Life often teaches us through hardships, but in this fantasy, I would wish for a year of just pure ease. Sure, the challenges we face have molded our characters, but I reckon we could use a break. Sometimes, we need the universe to deliver our desires with grace and simplicity, allowing us to savor the beauty of life without any struggle whatsoever. I’m ready for ease.

World Peace

I’m sure you’ll laugh at me for saying "world peace" out loud, but can you imagine how extraordinary that would be? In a world without wars, where everything is fairly traded, and nations respect one another… no xenophobia, no neocolonisation, no superpowers bullying anyone else….it's a dream beyond imagination. Picture a planet where everyone simply gets along, and conflicts are a distant memory. After all, we did say this was a fantasy.

A fully booked calendar for 2025

By fully booked I mean all the clients I am going to serve already lined up from January to December, with 3 full months of holiday along the way. How awesome would that be? A year with no sales, no calls, no proposals, no follow-up. Just rows and rows of people, ready to pay and work with us. Bliss!

You may not believe in Santa but when you see some of my wishes coming true in 2025, just know that I was totally ready for them all 🙂
