Viver o momento Presente

Não é de hoje que oiço a expressão viver o momento presente, aliás a primeira vez que despertei para o significado dessas palavras foi através do livro do Eckhart Tolle “O Poder do Agora.”

O livro foi-me oferecido por uma amiga Etíope que conheci na altura que vivia em Londres. De forma tão sensível, ela intuiu que ler esse livro teria um efeito poderoso na minha vida. Na verdade existem livros que nos são oferecidos com a missão de nos ajudar a encarar uma fase particularmente desafiadora, mesmo que ambas as partes, a que oferece e a que recebe não façam ideia do antídoto que o livro se tornará. Sempre fui uma pessoa de planificar, agir e continuar a mover-me para atingir objectivos. O projecto de consultoria e formação para o âmbito da primeira infância que criei já tinha metas a longo prazo definidas, mas eis que uma pandemia atinge o mundo e subitamente os compromissos de formação agendados são cancelados e as metas a longo prazo têm que ser repensadas. Felizmente e devido a uma mudança geográfica, já tinha intuído que uma solução inovadora seria as consultorias online. Antes da pandemia consegui um cliente bastante importante e relevante para a missão e propósito do meu projecto e tinha sido contactada para fazer parte de painéis de especialistas de outros projectos, ou seja, estava no caminho pelo qual tinha trabalhado tão arduamente. Contudo, todos os planos determinados tiveram que ser desacelerados e adaptados à nova realidade.

Sinto que agora finalmente comecei a perceber o que realmente significa 'viver o momento presente', fazer o que é possível hoje, nem mais, nem menos. Muitas das coisas que tinha planeado querendo ou não têm que esperar ou possivelmente não acontecerão como esperado. Escolhi encarar a situação da melhor forma possível, pois o que adianta ficar ‘presa’ ao que poderia ter sido? Mudará alguma coisa? Quem sabe como o mundo estará daqui a uma semana ou daqui a seis meses? Vale a pena planificar minuciosamente um futuro que não faço a menor ideia como será? Ainda planifico minimamente os meus compromissos online, mas mesmos esses estou a gerir no AGORA e se não acontecem como esperado, não fico decepcionada, pura e simplesmente aceito que fez-se o que foi possível. Mas o que estou a aprender com tudo isto? Uiii, acho que uma resposta completa a essa pergunta fica para um outro post, mas posso partilhar que estou a aprender a ser paciente e a semear o que espero ‘ter a possibilidade’ de acontecer sem esperar que aconteça num determinado tempo.

No meio de toda esta instabilidade que vivemos, existe algo que comecei a fazer que me  roporciona momentos de grande prazer e divertimento - conversar com pessoas inspiradoras, empreendedoras e alinhadas com os mesmos valores que os meus. Estas conversas acontecem virtualmente através da minha conta do Instagram. Estou a colher muita sabedoria, informação e novas conexões profissionais e pessoais. Acredito que se não fosse esta altura particular que vivemos não teria criado estes momentos únicos.


A Georgina Angélica é a fundadora da empresa que tem o seu nome, uma empresa de consultoria e desenvolvimento profissional em Luanda, Angola, com o lema - “Para cada necessidade, um recurso”. Depois de trabalhar durante vários anos numa escola de topo em Luanda, ficou preocupada com o desenvolvimento profissional dos educadores locais em toda Angola e como a sua falta de alta qualidade pedagógica estava a afetar as crianças sob os seus cuidados. Isto levou-a a agir para a mudança, criando um projeto educacional transformacional com um enfoque inicial na fundação de toda a educação - o Early Years Education.
