I think everyone is in need of a feel-good factor right now, but it can be hard to find. However, one trend I am seeing which in a small way can answer that need is the re-emergence of the gift card. Customers are supporting entrepreneurs and their businesses with much needed cash flow by buying gift cards that can be redeemed in the future, once things are normalized. Entrepreneurs are responding by creating special digital gift card promotions to encourage customers to buy now when their cash flow need is greatest.
