This expert team excels in everything from building plans and town planning to architecture, engineering, and sectional title management, with clients’ glowing feedback speaking to the company’s commitment to excellence and quality. Inez launched the business in 2024, creating jobs for 8 people.
LoA spoke to founder Inez Ferreira about her passion for property development and the built environment and its potential for positively changing the lives of local people.
What does your company do?
At IF Property Solutions (Pty) Ltd, we offer a range of services including: Building Plans, Town Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Sectional Title, Property Valuation, Property Inspection, and Municipal Facilitation.

What inspired you to start your company?
Our journey into the world of property development was born from a deep sense of service to our community and a desire to create and legalize spaces and structures that truly matter. Working within our company, we saw firsthand how thoughtful, purposeful design can shape not only the built environment but also the lives of those who experience it. This inspired us to take the next step and start IF Property Solutions (Pty) Ltd, where we could blend our passion for design with our commitment to enhancing communities. By prioritizing both innovation and practicality, we aim to leave a lasting, positive impact on the world through every project we undertake.
What makes your business, service or product special?
We serve as a One-Stop solution for all needs that a given property would require with our suite of property-based services. Managing the entirety of any property-based project from the beginning to it's desired end.

Tell us a little about your team
Our expert team brings a diverse and comprehensive set of skills, excelling in every facet of the built environment. From conceptualizing innovative building plans to crafting detailed and sustainable town planning strategies, we are committed to delivering solutions that blend functionality with aesthetic appeal. Our architects design spaces that inspire, while our engineers ensure that every structure is safe, sound, and built to last. Additionally, our proficiency in sectional title management allows us to navigate complex legal and administrative challenges with ease, ensuring that developments are not only architecturally outstanding but also legally compliant and efficiently managed. With a multi-disciplinary approach, our team works collaboratively to bring every project to life with precision, creativity, and a deep understanding of the diverse needs of our clients and communities.
Share a little about your entrepreneurial journey. And, do you come from an entrepreneurial background?
My entrepreneurial journey in architecture and town planning has been shaped by a deep passion for creating spaces that foster connection, innovation, and progress. I’ve always been driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact through my work. Over time, I realized that to truly bring my vision to life, I needed to step beyond the boundaries of working for others and create something of my own. This led me to launch IF Property Solutions (Pty) Ltd, where I could merge my love for design with my commitment to improving communities.
The path hasn’t always been easy, but it has been incredibly rewarding. Each challenge has been an opportunity to grow and innovate, learning how to navigate the complexities of both the creative and business sides of our industry. Building a company from the ground up has taught me the value of perseverance, collaboration, and the importance of staying true to one’s vision, no matter the obstacles. Today, I am proud to lead a team of talented professionals who share this same drive to make a lasting difference through thoughtful, sustainable design.

What are your future plans and aspirations for your company?
My vision for the future of IF Property Solutions (Pty) Ltd is to expand our reach and impact, providing comprehensive property-based services that cater to the evolving needs of our communities. As architects, town planners, and so much more; we already have a strong foundation in creating spaces that inspire and function seamlessly, but our aspirations extend beyond the built environment alone. We aim to grow into a multi-disciplinary firm that offers a complete range of services, from property development and design to management and investment, ensuring that we can guide our clients through every stage of their journey.
Our goal is to create integrated solutions that are sustainable, innovative, and forward-thinking—building not just structures, but vibrant communities where people can live, work, and thrive. As we expand, we’re committed to staying at the forefront of industry trends, embracing new technologies, and continuously improving our processes to deliver value and exceed client expectations. What gives you the most satisfaction being an entrepreneur?
The greatest satisfaction I find as an entrepreneur in the property development space is the ability to bring vision to life and create tangible, lasting impact in the communities we serve. There’s something profoundly rewarding about taking a concept, a blueprint of ideas, and seeing it transform into a space that will inspire, serve, and endure. It’s not just about designing buildings; it’s about shaping environments where people can connect, grow, and thrive.
Beyond the design and technical aspects, the most fulfilling part of my journey is the opportunity to lead and collaborate with a talented team of professionals who share this passion. As an entrepreneur, I have the privilege of cultivating an environment where creativity and innovation can flourish, and where each project becomes a testament to our collective effort and dedication.
What truly drives me, though, is knowing that through my work, I have a hand in influencing the future of cities and neighborhoods, making them more sustainable, livable, and inspiring for generations to come. The sense of purpose that comes with this responsibility is what makes every challenge, every long day, and every achievement along the way incredibly satisfying.
What's the biggest piece of advice you can give to other women looking to start-up?
Don't listen to the noise, and keep pushing forward.
