What inspired you to start your company?

The need to build an environmentally better generation and the concern with the environmental situation in Mozambique and in the world.

Why should anyone use your service or product?

Humanism, volunteering and improving people's quality of life.

Tell us a little about your team

It's a team of young volunteers, who donate their time twice a week to clean the beaches and the mangroves, without asking for anything in return, with the simple pleasure of seeing the environmental situation improved. They are motivated young people who are proud of their commitment and dedication and who do their best to ensure a better future for everyone.

“I have no business history, I come from a humble, beautiful family that taught me important principles for life. Today I consider myself a social entrepreneur and I am also a consultant, trainer and university professor.”

Share a little about your entrepreneurial journey. And do you come from an entrepreneurial background?

I have no business history, I come from a humble, beautiful family that taught me important principles for life. Today I consider myself a social entrepreneur and I am also a consultant, trainer and university professor.

Hoje me considero empreendedora social e sou igualmente consultora, formadora e docente universitária.

What are your future plans and aspirations for your company?

To make the Conscious Generation an environmental movement of reference in Africa and in the world. May more and more people join the movement and make their voice heard more in favour of preserving the environment.

What gives you the most satisfaction being an entrepreneur?

Changing people's lives.

Mudar a vida das pessoas.

What's the biggest piece of advice you can give to other women looking to start-up?

For women, the advice is to believe in yourself and your potential. The stereotype and disbelief in us, which we often carry or impose on us, makes us think that we are not capable, and we are capable and we can be whatever we want.
