As empreendedoras moçambicanas concentram-se na criação de impacto com as suas empresas

O desejo de causar impacto através dos negócios foi o tema de conversa no segundo evento da série Lioness Lean In Webinars em Moçambique, realizada a 6 de julho de 2022. Cerca de 100 mulheres empreendedoras de todo o país reuniram-se online no dia 6 de julho de 2022 para participar no webinar organizado pela Lionesses of Africa em parceria com o Standard Bank Mozambique e a Embaixada do Reino dos Países Baixos. O objetivo era que as empresárias do país partilhassem as suas experiências de criação de impacto, inspirando-se mutuamente com as histórias das suas jornadas empresarias e criassem ligações para o sucesso e colaboração empresariais.

O segundo Lioness Lean In Webinar do ano, em Moçambique, teve início com alto astral com a anfitriã MC Cátia David da Direcção de Soluções de Clientes da Incubadora do Standard Bank, em Maputo, a dar as boas-vindas às participantes do evento. Ela encorajou todas as participantes a aproveitarem a oportunidade para se deixarem inspirar pelas histórias de start-ups, grandes perceções, conselhos e pela grande rede de apoio a explorar.

O programa de webinar começou com a fundadora e CEO da Lionesses of Africa, Melanie Hawken, dando as boas-vindas aos participantes. Ela falou sobre a forma como as mulheres empreendedoras são capazes de ajudar-se mutuamente nos negócios neste momento, criando uma onda de impacto e gerando uma cadeia de favores - respondendo à bondade de uma pessoa sendo bondosa com outra. Encorajou todas as mulheres empreendedoras a ajudar outra mulher de forma intencional na sua empresa - com uma referência, um conselho ou um recurso muito necessário. Falou sobre como podemos causar um verdadeiro impacto nas vidas das outras mulheres empreendedoras se gerarmos uma cadeia de favores, ajudando-as a elevar as suas empresas ao próximo nível. Melanie também convidou as participantes a visitarem o website das Lionesses of Africa e a lerem as histórias inspiradoras de startups de milhares de empreendedoras bem-sucedidas de todo o continente.

Em seguida, o programa contou com a intervenção do Sr. Maarten Rusch, o Chefe de Cooperação da Embaixada do Reino dos Países Baixos, que deu as boas-vindas e falou sobre o impacto socioeconómico que as mulheres empreendedoras têm no continente. Maarten reforçou o apoio da Embaixada às mulheres empreendedoras do país e celebrou a parceria entre a Lionesses of Africa, a Embaixada e o Standard Bank ao longo dos anos. O programa contou também com a participação de Kátia Monteiro, Gestora, Cobertura de Clientes, Banca de Empresas, Standard Bank Mozambique, que apresentou os programas e iniciativas empresariais do banco para as mulheres empreendedoras.

Em seguida, duas mulheres empreendedoras moçambicanas de sucesso partilharam as suas experiências empresariais no país. Heleen Henriques, fundadora da Mobi Lda, falou sobre os desafios e oportunidades para a construção de marcas nos setores da manufatura e do retalho. Eliana Silva, fundadora da Marcas por Escrever, também partilhou as suas experiências na construção de um nicho de negócio de consultoria baseado em áreas de especialização. Ambas partilharam grandes ideias sobre a forma como construíram as suas empresas e marcas, e sobre as suas aspirações de crescimento para o futuro.

O popular componente Lioness Launch contou com a participação de Lutea Magaia Alberto, fundadora da Mentes Sustentáveis, que partilhou a sua mais recente gama de produtos. O componente Lioness Launch Open Mike funcionou como plataforma para três mulheres empreendedoras locais falarem sobre as suas empresas e os novos produtos e serviços que estão a introduzir no mercado. Eram elas: Jessica Lairs, fundadora da D’laires Encantos; Mercia Bomba, fundadora da Nsky arte da felicidade; e Webera Jacy, fundadora da Webera. A sessão foi envolvente e encorajou as participantes a conectarem-se umas com as outros no fórum online por chat.

A fundadora da Lionesses of Africa, Melanie Hawken, encerrou o webinar encorajando as participantes a inscreverem-se em todos os recursos digitais gratuitos disponíveis para as mulheres empreendedoras em Moçambique. Estes incluíam a newsletter digital gratuita e diária - Bom Dia Leoas, que é publicada pela Lionesses of Africa em parceria com o Standard Bank e a Embaixada do Reino dos Países Baixos. Melanie agradeceu a todas as participantes, oradoras e parceiros pela sua presença e apoio e informou a todos que o próximo seminário Lioness Lean In Webinar em Moçambique terá lugar a 27 de setembro de 2022.
