As mulheres empreendedoras de Moçambique inclinam-se para o crescimento

Mais de 120 mulheres empreendedoras de todo o país reuniram-se online no dia 28 de setembro de 2022 para o mais recente evento da popular série Lioness Lean In Webinars, organizados pela Lionesses of Africa em parceria com o Standard Bank Mozambique e a Embaixada do Reino dos Países Baixos. O objetivo era que as empresárias do país partilhassem as suas experiências, inspirando-se mutuamente com as histórias das suas jornadas empresarias e criassem ligações para o sucesso empresarial.

O terceiro Lioness Lean In Webinar do ano, em Moçambique, teve início com alto astral com a anfitriã MC Cátia David da Direcção de Soluções de Clientes da Incubadora do Standard Bank, em Maputo, a dar as boas-vindas às participantes do evento. Cátia lembrou todas as participantes que, desde o lançamento da Lionesses of Africa, em novembro de 2014, milhares de mulheres empreendedoras em todo o continente participaram em eventos Lioness Lean In, tanto online como pessoalmente. Ela encorajou todas as participantes a aproveitarem a oportunidade para se deixarem inspirar pela histórias de start-ups, grandes perceções, conselhos e pela grande rede de apoio a explorar.

O programa de webinars foi iniciado com a fundadora e CEO da Lionesses of Africa, Melanie Hawken, dando as boas-vindas às participantes e falando sobre a importância para as empreendedoras de terem modelos a seguir na sua vida empresarial. Melanie encorajou todas as participantes a reservar um momento para observar todas as outras mulheres empreendedoras inspiradoras online no webinar que são grandes exemplos a seguir - para se inspirar nelas, e aprender com elas. Também convidou as participantes a visitarem o website das Lionesses of Africa e a lerem as histórias inspiradoras de startups de milhares de empreendedoras bem-sucedidas de todo o continente.

Em seguida, o programa contou com a participação de Elsbeth Akkerman, a recém-nomeada Embaixadora em Moçambique da Embaixada do Reino dos Países Baixos, que deu as suas boas-vindas. Elsbeth reforçou o apoio da Embaixada às mulheres empreendedoras do país e celebrou a parceria entre a Lionesses of Africa, a Embaixada e o Standard Bank ao longo dos anos. O programa contou também com a participação de Sheila Osman, Chefe de Departamento de Controlo e Atendimento ao Cliente do Standard Bank Mozambique, que apresentou os programas e iniciativas do banco para as mulheres empresárias.

Um evento Lioness Lean In consiste na partilha de experiências de mulheres empreendedoras. Na partilha de jornadas empresariais; em falar sobre os desafios, os pontos altos e os pontos baixos de ser empreendedor; e em inspirar-se umas às outras. Duas empreendedoras líderes partilharam as suas histórias pessoais no webinar: Alcinda Cumba Durão, fundadora da IZHA Interior Design Limitada; e Nárcia Taalumba Walle, cofundadora da Margarida e Rose Beauty Bar Limitada. Ambas partilharam grandes ideias sobre a forma como construíram as suas empresas e marcas, e sobre as suas aspirações de crescimento para o futuro.

Seguiu-se o popular componente Lioness Launch, com Vânia Zandamela, cofundadora da MangasComSal, a apresentar às participantes os seus novos produtos e serviços que estão a lançados no evento. Também foram apresentadas as empresas, marcas e gamas de produtos de três mulheres empresárias de Moçambique no Lioness Open Mike, representando uma vasta gama de setores de negócio - Lailate Talaquichande, fundadora da Super Fashion, Lda; Jessa Lilanda Miambo, fundadora da PinkNetwork; e Ana Belmonte, fundadora da Malachi Garden Services Lda. Seguiu-se a sessão de perguntas e respostas, durante a qual os membros da audiência tiveram a oportunidade de fazer perguntas a cada uma das oradoras sobre as suas empresas e experiências. A sessão foi animada, envolvente e resultou numa significativa conectividade empresarial no fórum online por chat.

O webinar terminou com um apelo à ação da fundadora da Lionesses of Africa, Melanie Hawken, encorajando as participantes a tirar partido de todos os recursos digitais gratuitos disponíveis para as mulheres empreendedoras em Moçambique. Estes incluíam a inscrição na newsletter digital gratuita e diária - Bom Dia Leoas, que é publicada pela Lionesses of Africa em parceria com o Standard Bank e a Embaixada do Reino dos Países Baixos.

Melanie agradeceu a todas as participantes, oradoras e parceiros pela sua presença e apoio e informou a todos que o próximo seminário Lioness Lean In Webinar em Moçambique terá lugar a 7 de dezembro de 2022.
