LovingKindness Boma is an independent Publishing House of Mindful and Diverse books for children, launched by Swaady Martin in South Africa. It creates and sell children's books that entertain, educate and enrich the whole family. This month sees the launch of 7 books that will bring joy and understanding to readers.

The LovingKindness Boma platform provides resources to help cultivate a culture of love, kindness, compassion, understanding, mindfulness, introspection and self-love within the family. Each story told celebrates the diversity of the world, helps strengthen the necessary emotional life skills and values for dealing with the inevitable challenges of life. The texts and illustrations contain social-emotional, spiritual and cultural conversation starters to connect more deeply and support the development of your little ones as caring global citizens.

What makes these new books from LovingKindness Boma different is that although they focus on our common humanity, the aim is to rebalance the representation in children's books with all of the main characters being from diverse and multicultural backgrounds, representing the reality of the world. Moreover, diverse children’s books are important for all children. For children of color as they offer them visibility, relatability, and demonstrate that they matter. And for all other children so they have an opportunity to see realities and experiences from a different perspective.
Swaady’s aspirations for the LovingKindness Boma books is to reach households all around the world, as diverse and mindfulness books are important for all children.
