Many women suffer anxiety and self-esteem issues, particularly around selecting clothing that makes them look and feel good. In Mozambique, entrepreneur Glaussia Monjane, founder of Grandonas MZ, knows these issues from personal experience, and is launching a new plus-size fashion range that aims to help other women.
LoA spoke to founder Glaussia Monjane this month to find out more about this new launch.
What does your company do?
Through my company Grandonas MZ, we specialize in Plus-size chubby's by Glau.
What new product or service are you launching?
I'm currently launching my brand in terms of fashion aids for overweight women.

What makes your new product or service different?
What makes my clothing sales different is that I bless chubby women as a target audience, being that women are quite forgetful and suffer a lot from being overweight.
O que torna as minhas vendas de roupas diferente é que privilégio as gordinhas como público alvos, sendo que são as mulheres que são bastante esquecidas e sofrem muito com isso.
Are you having a launch event
I didn't have the opportunity, but I would have really liked too.
Não tive a oportunidade, porém gostava imenso.
What are your aspirations for the new product or service?
From the moment my inspiration is my story, I was born overweight and growing up I went through a lot that I would not like people to go through. So I decided to help women dress better, to be vain, to raise self-esteem. My inspiration is myself, even in terms of the process of change, I believe in a better tomorrow every day, I believe that there is a world that needs people to fight for the common good.
Do momento a minha inspiração é a minha história, nasci gorda e assim cresci, passei por muita coisa que não gostaria que as pessoas passassem então decide ajudar as mulheres a se vestirem melhor, a serem vaidosas, a elevar o autoestima, minha inspiração sou eu mesma em termos de processo de mudança, eu creio em um amanhã melhor a cada dia, creio que há um mundo que precisa de pessoas a lutarem pelo bem comum.
Where can people buy your new product or service?
At the moment sales are available online. I don't have any physical store. I focused more on women's empowerment, I fell in love with this art.
Do momento as vendas são online não tenho nenhuma loja física sendo que parei com as vendas, e foquei me mais na parte de emponderamento feminino, apaixonei me por está arte.
