Every great village needs a great artisanal chocolate store, and now Linden in Johannesburg, well known as a boutique shopping and eating lifestyle destination, has its own with the opening of The Chocolatiers new retail shop. Passionate mother and daughter entrepreneurial team, Melanie Finch-Keshwar and Ann Finch, are creating aesthetically beautiful, exquisite tasting chocolates to suit every occasion and every palette.
The duo hand craft an extensive range of chocolates made from Belgian couverture, and all using natural ingredients, hand crafted in small batches. The Chocolatiers brand is environmentally conscious, with all packaging being proudly plastic free, compostable or recyclable. The brand has also created a truly beautiful and ethical vegan range, together with a sugar free range, for sale not only through its own new store, but also through its local stockist network and online through its website http://www.thechocolatiers.co.za
The new retail store opened its doors just two weeks ago, but already the word is spreading beyond the local village of Linden and across the city. This is thanks to a loyal following of passionate chocolate lovers who are big fans of The Chocolatiers and their wonderful creations.
Co founder, Melanie Finch-Keshwar, said of the new store launch:
“We think this was the right timing to launch our new retail store experience, we had grown as far as we could without having a physical retail space where people could find us. I think this new retail space and location here in Linden is right for our brand and our customers have been asking the question, where can we find you. If you don’t have your own space, you can direct the to your stockists, but it is not the same as having a retail outlet which carries your entire range all the time and where they can experience your products and your brand in the way you would like.”
