What inspired you to start your company?

The need to take better care of myself, due to some changes that started to happen on a physical and emotional level when I entered the pre-menopause phase of life. It made me start investigating and producing for personal use. Then friends noticed the changes, they started asking me to produce for them - and I never stopped!

Why should anyone use your service or product?

The fact that they are 100% natural, with effective and proven results, and the post-sales support that we provide to our customers until they obtain the desired result.

Tell us a little about your team:

My team is made up of 3 people, my husband, and my children, who support the promotion, delivery, and production process. On the men's perfume label, I use the image of one of them (son) who is a model and the other also supports customer service.

Share a little about your entrepreneurial journey. And do you come from an entrepreneurial background?

I started entrepreneurship at a very young age, providing meals and cooking for events after taking some cooking courses. When I went to live in Nampula, I realized that during the holidays teenagers frequented adult environments and my children were teenagers at the time, so I started doing events for teenagers.

After I returned to Maputo, I started selling bundled clothes, while taking a confectionery course. I started working in this area at the time of COVID and providing training in the area, but I felt that I still hadn't "got it right" in the business. That’s when I started taking courses in soap-making and artisanal perfumery, the area in which I work at the moment, and also provide training.

What are your future plans and aspirations for your company?

The plans are to have my products on supermarket shelves across the country and for export, and to open my store and an aesthetic skin treatment salon with natural products. To be a reference company in the area.

What gives you the most satisfaction being an entrepreneur?

In this field, the fact that it can help people improve the appearance of their skin, helps to raise self-esteem, and mainly contributes to changing the habits of the Mozambican population. I am happy every time my clients send a thank you message for the results achieved.

What's the biggest piece of advice you can give to other women looking to start-up?

Even if you did something and it went wrong, never give up. Be focused, persistent, and disciplined.

Start with what you have, the important thing is to start. It is possible to start "without money”, growing little by little. Believe in yourself, have faith in God.

Train whenever possible and necessary. Have a coach to provide support and surround yourself with positive and inspiring people.

Sejam focadas,perseverantes e disciplinadas.
