“The future vision I have for Ellen ESV is for it to be a reference company in the areas in which it operates and to help many people achieve financial independence, especially women who have suffered financial violence and deprivation of their dreams.”

“Knowing that I help people and companies organize their finances and financial area is a great source of pride.”

What inspired you to start your company?

The desire to be able to help people control their money, providing them with knowledge about financial education and, in addition, providing support in company management because in a world of emerging entrepreneurship, entrepreneurs care little about financial issues.

Why should anyone use your service or product?

We awaken the manager that exists in each person.

We represent our client (providing address, office, and administrative services)

We provide quality and excellence services.

We provide accounting services at the client's premises, when necessary.

We advise our clients on an ongoing basis.

Despertamos o gestor que existe em cada pessoa;

Tell us a little about your team:

We are a dynamic team, made up of 11 workers, mostly young people, 5 men and 5 women. I feel honoured to have a young and dedicated team like mine, who happily share tasks and create a functional system to make tasks more flexible.

Share a little about your entrepreneurial journey. And do you come from an entrepreneurial background?

I come from a family of entrepreneurs. My mother has been producing vegetables to sell at markets since I was 1 month old. When I was 10 years old, she took me to sell at her stall in the central market in the city of Beira, as a way to help bring more money to our family. My father encouraged me to study in the financial field, forcing me to give up a higher education course in language teaching in order to study accounting and finance.

After graduating from college with a degree in accounting and finance, my entrepreneurial streak began to take hold and I started doing small businesses selling clothing imported from the USA and China. However, in 2017 I decided to create the company Ellen Consultoria, which only provided accounting and consultancy services, but in parallel with that I registered for a multilevel marketing business in a South African cosmetics company, definitively reactivating my entrepreneurial side.

In 2018, I created a company in the restaurant and seafood sector (Mercearia Sabores do Mar) which grew, but unfortunately did not survive Covid19. Given this, in 2021 I decided to restructure my business, starting by bringing a new vision to Ellen ESV and stabilizing myself in the multilevel business.

What are your future plans and aspirations for your company?

The future vision I have for Ellen ESV is for it to be a reference company in the areas in which it operates and to help many people achieve financial independence, especially women who have suffered financial violence and deprivation of their dreams. I hope people associate Ellen ESV with Healthy Finance.

“What gives me most satisfaction is to be a reference in the lives of many people by not only providing services or selling products, but by knowing that I inspire them to achieve their goals.”

What gives you the most satisfaction being an entrepreneur?

Knowing that I help people and companies organize their finances and financial area is a great source of pride. To be a reference in the lives of many people by not only providing services or selling products but by knowing that I inspire them to achieve their goals.

What's the biggest piece of advice you can give to other women looking to start-up?

My advice is for women to advance in these businesses, even if the value of the investment is not complete. We must go after our dreams, plan how we intend to create this business, and think about the competitive advantage that we will bring to the market, only then will we be able to achieve our objectives.
