It’s true what they say, in order to declutter your mind you also need to declutter your space. And, for all those people who find it difficult to achieve the latter, South African entrepreneur Bryony Parr has the solution, Her company, Oh So Organised, is on a mission to bring a little order in to your work and home living spaces, creating the space for you to think more clearly and live more freely.

"Oh So Organised offers a professional organising service to get your home or office space clean and organised!"

What inspired you to start your company?

I have been working in a similar platform overseas and decided to move home and bring the concept with me. With the price of living space and the cost of living steadily rising, many families move from home to home and grow over time, without having the time to actually reflect on their personal items and to decide whether they are actually useful to them any longer. It takes time and motivation and these tasks are often daunting - thats where I come in, a coach of sorts, asking the right questions and keeping my clients motivated - reaching the end of the session on time and achieving the goals we set!

Why should anyone use your service or product?

Time is of great value to everyone - I have the time to get my clients organised and I have the motivation! I offer solutions to maintain the space and I remove all unwanted items - so that when the session is over, the space is complete!

"Many families move from home to home and grow over time, without having the time to actually reflect on their personal items and to decide whether they are actually useful to them any longer."

Tell us a little about your team

I am the team! I work with my clients on a one-on-one basis, as they are the decision makers when it comes to their possessions. I have 6 years experience in my field and have worked with many different nationalities, allowing me to adapt accordingly to my clients needs.

Share a little about your entrepreneurial journey. And, do you come from an entrepreneurial background?

I was given the idea by my fiancé about running my own business and I never thought I would actually do it! I have had amazing support from both friends and family and businesses around me.

"Time is of great value to everyone - I have the time to get my clients organised and I have the motivation!"

What are your future plans and aspirations for your company?

I wish to grow into a franchise and start a local TV show on the sessions I do with my clients.

What gives you the most satisfaction being an entrepreneur?

Being able to support myself and dictate how I spend my time

What's the biggest piece of advice you can give to other women looking to start-up?

Network! join as many groups as you can!
Understand your business or product as well as you co so that when you talk about your business you are confident!
Talk about your business to anyone and everyone.
Don't be AFRAID!

Why LoA loves it….

Let’s be honest, every home and company probably has at least one space which is in need of decluttering in order to become a useable and enjoyable space again, but often there simply isn’t the time and the energy to tackle it. This is where entrepreneur Bryony Parr comes in with her business Oh So Organised. She is on a mission to turn those spaces into great places to be once again, providing a professional organising service that will bring sanity to any home or business owner again. --- Melanie Hawken, founder and editor-in-chief of Lionesses of Africa
