As mulheres empreendedoras de Moçambique aprendem a colocar as suas empresas na zona de crescimento

O primeiro evento da popular série Lioness Lean In Webinars de 2022 teve lugar a 23 de março de 2022, em Moçambique, atraindo uma audiência de cerca de 145 mulheres empreendedoras em todas as fases das suas jornadas de construção de negócios. O evento foi realizado pela Lionesses of Africa em parceria com o Standard Bank Mozambique e a Embaixada do Reino dos Países Baixos. O objetivo era que as empresárias do país estabelecessem uma ligação virtual entre si, inspirando-se mutuamente com as histórias das suas jornadas empresarias para alcançar o sucesso empresarial.

O primeiro Lioness Lean In Webinar do ano, em Moçambique, teve uma grande início, com a anfitriã MC Cátia David da Direcção de Soluções de Clientes da Incubadora do Standard Bank, em Maputo, a dar as boas-vindas às participantes do evento. Ela encorajou todas as participantes a se deixarem inspirar pela histórias de start-ups, grandes perceções, conselhos e pela grande rede de apoio a explorar no evento.

A fundadora e CEO da Lionesses of Africa, Melanie Hawken, deu as boas-vindas às participantes e falou sobre o tema do webinar: como alcançar a sua zona de crescimento nos negócios. Falou sobre a forma como as empreendedoras precisam de mudar as suas mentalidades e sair das suas atuais zonas de conforto e mudar para novas e altamente focalizadas zonas de crescimento, se quiserem elevar as suas empresas ao próximo patamar. Ela disse: “Observando as empreendedoras que começaram o ano com o pé direito, o que têm em comum é que tomaram decisões conscientes para entrar nas suas zonas de crescimento e deixar para trás as suas zonas de conforto.” Era este o seu conselho para as participantes: “Dê cada passo de crescimento, um de cada vez, desenvolva a sua estratégia de crescimento, estabeleça as suas metas de crescimento, comunique os seus objetivos de crescimento à sua equipa para que percorra a jornada ao seu lado. Ao mesmo tempo, desenvolva a sua mentalidade de crescimento pessoal, saia da sua zona de conforto e evite fazer as coisas sempre da mesma maneira, apostando em abordagens mais eficientes e inovadoras. É assim que entra na zona de crescimento.”

Em seguida, o programa contou com a participação do Sr. Marteen Rusch, Chefe de Cooperação da Embaixada do Reino dos Países Baixos, que deu as boas-vindas às participantes e falou sobre a importância do empreendedorismo para a criação de uma economia forte. A Tanuja Viriato, gestora sénior da Africa China Banking no Standard Bank Mozambique, apresentou aos programas e iniciativas do banco para as mulheres empreendedoras.

Partilhando as suas experiências como mulheres empreendedoras bem-sucedidas no país, duas mulheres empreendedoras líderes apresentaram as suas empresas e histórias pessoais de construção de negócios às participantes. Eram elas: Gércia Sequeira, fundadora da ITIS e Taciana Peão Lopes, fundadora da TPLA Law Firm. Ambas partilharam grandes ideias sobre a forma como construíram as suas empresas e marcas, e sobre os desafios que encontraram nas suas jornadas.

Seguiu-se o popular componente Lioness Launch, com Yolanda Matine, fundadora da Azura, a apresentar às participantes os seus novos produtos e serviços que estão a lançados no evento. Também foram apresentadas as empresas, marcas e gamas de produtos de três mulheres empresárias de Moçambique no Lioness Open Mike, representando uma vasta gama de setores de negócio - Anna Karina de Sousa, fundadora da Executive Nails; Sofia Maquile, fundadora da Smaqs; e Aurora Matavel, fundadora da SCS, Lda. Seguiu-se a sessão de perguntas e respostas, durante a qual os membros da audiência tiveram a oportunidade de fazer perguntas a cada uma das oradoras sobre as suas empresas e experiências.

O webinar terminou com uma introdução à oportunidade para as empreendedoras moçambicanas serem apresentadas na newsletter digital gratuita e diária - Bom Dia Leoas, que é publicada pela Lionesses of Africa em parceria com o Standard Bank e a Embaixada do Reino dos Países Baixos. Melanie apresentou a história de destaque dessa manhã, Taila Carrilho, fundadora da Ruum Gallery & Atelier Taila Carrilho, um grande exemplo de como as mulheres empreendedoras são apresentadas todos os dias na newsletter. Melanie agradeceu a todas as participantes, oradoras e parceiros pela sua presença e apoio e informou a todos que o próximo seminário Lioness Lean In Webinar em Moçambique terá lugar a 6 de julho de 2022.
