Great self-care is essential in our lives as women entrepreneurs

I have noticed a definite trait amongst many of the women entrepreneurs in the Lionesses of Africa community - and one I am absolutely guilty of myself. We are all very good at making everyone and everything else a priority in our lives, and not taking special care of ourselves. At this time of year, when we are all frantically trying to get things done and projects finished before the end of year holidays, it can be especially stressful. So it’s important to start developing good self-care habits that will help us to better deal with everything that life throws at us. Those habits could include meditating for a short time each morning to refresh the mind, or going for a short walk in the evening to decompress, or perhaps just going to the spa for a pamper session once a week. Personally, my new self-care habit is going to include taking 15 extra minutes each morning, to sit and enjoy a cup of Earl Grey tea while I watch the sun rise before I start working, no matter where I am in the world on my travels.
