Showcasing Africa's women entrepreneurs to the world...
For many women entrepreneurs in Africa, getting access to key global markets is a real challenge. There is a need to provide powerful platforms where established and up-and-coming women entrepreneurs on the continent who are developing innovative solutions and products can showcase their businesses to the world’s buyers, influencers, investors and collaborators. Lionesses of Africa's newly launched Start-up Night! Africa series will take place in major cities across the globe and is designed to stimulate market access for Africa's exciting new generation of women entrepreneurs.
The first in a series of Lionesses of Africa Start-up Night! Africa events took place in Berlin on 26 October 2017, in partnership with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in Germany. 5 High growth potential women entrepreneurs from the Lionesses of Africa community will pitch their digital solutions at this event, to an audience of over 250 attendees.
